There are 3 main programs [in my opinion] for graphic development: Corel, Photoshop, and Fireworks

I started with fireworks a couple of years ago... i'd say it's the easiest to use and it helps everyone understand the basics and move on to Photoshop for example. As for Corel, i still think that it's dedicated to a sector of users that know a lot about graphics and can work with it.

So i'd say like this:
- Fireworks for beginners
- Photoshop in general
- Corel for advanced designers

But what about others?
