Anyone here run a forum? I do, it definitely keeps me occupied. If you do own a forum what forum software do you use?
I've used both free forum scripts like phpbb and smf. I like them both but not as much as vBulletin. IPB is also another good paid forum script. I like them both.
I tried to run a forum but found is was too difficult to gain members. And to get a good forum you need good members. so I pretty much gaveup after that.
I like vbulleting, it looks sweet and a lot more 'pro' then phpbb.
Funny you should motion this . I am currently working on a template for my new game forum. Basically you play games for cash prizes. Prizes will be given out monthly and so on, now I won't get into that too much.
To answer your question I would probably have to agree with you - I have used vBulletin quite a few times and find it easy to function and operate. Good luck with your forum mate and bringing in the users
I don't have a forum site but I am really thinking of having one. can you share some insights and more information on how I can develop one? I think it is a great idea and interesting to have a forum site.
I have managed forums since the earlier days since vBulletin 1.1 and at that time there were not many forums. Have used vBulletin, IPB, phpBB, SMF, eBlah (perl based, injectinless forum script as everything is stored in files and not database hehe). So i have a good amount of experience in forum handling.
But now days as there are a lot of free forum scripts so people start their own forum. So you can probably find lot of forums on common subjects. But if you have a good niche forum where there is less competition you can click.
Ok my nicest friend in the sound period (His a varlet) is hysterically in make out with Gina Carano and he talks around her all broad daylight and tenebrousness long. Like I would demand him but he would good start talking and I wouldn't discover what he was saying, so how is she conspicuous whats her business and is she fasten on or married. Like I said I would apply to him but he would of went off a article and I don't contain time for that so if you discern something nearly her it would help me alot.
