Why some countries are poor?

What do you think is the main reason why a certain country is poor? Is it because of government mismanagement? Uneducated people? Or Scarce resources?

In my opinion, these three aspects affect the economy of a country. But in my country, I can say that the main reason for it being poor is because of the mismanagement and corruption of our government officials. This may be embarrassing to say, but I think it really is.

I'm sure there are endless reasons for why some countries are undeveloped.

One main one i can think of is population density. If there are too many people in a country, hogging resources etc. The country will struggle to keep a good standard of living for it's citizens.

I think it is based on what happened in history,
some countries are poor today due to rich people
taking over there food supplies, territory and natural
resources.

Another reason is fights between other countries and
governmental problems between nations. Some countries
that used to be joined may have broken away over the time
due to political matters.

There are a lot of reasons but I think the main reason for a country being poor is the citizens living in it...

There is just not 1 reason behind any country being poor. Lot of factors like:

1. resources
2. mismanagement
3. corruption
4. people

All these factors play role somehow or the other
